The Young Friends are Philly’s most culturally engaged young professionals ages 21 to 45. We are passionate about connecting people with the arts and support the Museum by funding a wide range of programs, including elementary school field trips, art conservation, and acquisitions for the collection.

What is a membership enhancement?
How does my Young Friends membership support the Museum?
After becoming a Museum member, the Friends Groups
are enhancements that provide additional benefits catered to your interests. For more information on Friends Groups and membership enhancements, contact Member Services at 215-684-7840.
Is the Young Friends enhancement tax deductible? Are the tickets to fund-raisers deductible?
Your membership contributions are combined with funds raised through our annual Fall into Art and Winter fund-raisers and The Young Friends Fund, an endowment established in 2006.
Each June, the Young Friends Executive Board then awards grants that support important Museum activities including exhibitions, acquisitions, conservation, and educational and outreach programming. Many beloved works of art
throughout the Museum were purchased with donations through the Young Friends program.
Yes, for the Single Young Friend enhancement all but $5 is tax deductible and for the Dual Young Friend enhancement all but $10 is tax deductible. A varying portion of all fundraiser tickets are tax deductible. Attendees will receive tax receipts following each event.
What is the difference between a Single Young Friend enhancement and a Dual Young Friend enhancement?
A Single Young Friend enhancement provides benefits for one adult. A Dual Young Friend enhancement provides benefits for two adults. Members at the Member Plus level or higher are able to select between either a Single or Dual Young Friends enhancement. If only a Single enhancement is selected you must identify which person on the membership will receive the benefits.
Can I give Young Friends as a gift?
