Help Desk Technician

The Philadelphia Museum of Art seeks an experienced help desk technician to join our Information and Interactive Technologies team (IIT) to provide technical support to staff in order to maintain a smooth operation of Museum computer facilities. This person will provide both hands-on and remote assistance to requests for technical support for commonly used software, hardware, and other equipment within the Museum. Additionally, this individual will manage the circulation of laptops, manuals, and other materials as appropriate.

Barra American Art Fellowship

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is looking to fill the Barra American Art Fellowship, a one year position to begin at the start of the 2018-2019 Academic Year with a possibility of renewal for the 2019-2020 Academic Year. The Barra Fellow will work full-time in the Department of American Art, assisting four days a week in ongoing department research and exhibition projects, with one day reserved for personal research, writing, or travel.

Suzanne Andrée Curatorial Fellowship

The Philadelphia Museum of Art announces a two-year (first year renewable) Curatorial Fellowship in Prints, Drawings, and Photographs beginning on July 2, 2018. The fellowship provides firsthand experience with curatorial work in the graphic arts. Fellows participate in all activities of a large, active curatorial department with a collection of more than 160,000 works of art on paper, located in state-of-the art facilities. Fellows will have the opportunity to organize an exhibition from the permanent collection during the second year of the fellowship. Position includes travel stipend and benefits.

The Daniel W. Dietrich II Fellow in Contemporary Art

The Contemporary Art Department is seeking applicants for the Daniel W. Dietrich II Fellow in Contemporary Art. This rotating position works closely with other curatorial staff within the department under the supervision of the Department Head. The Fellow will assist with planning and realizing a number of installations; conduct research related to collection objects and exhibitions; and contribute to documentation, scholarship, and conservation projects related to the Dietrich Contemporary Art gifts.
